But freedom on paper doesn’t always translate to freedom in practice. That’s where we come in.

Mississippi: ESA decisions that will determine the future of school choice are being made this session, starting January 6. Immediate investment is needed to ensure parents have a voice at the table.
Louisiana: School choice and ESA policy face serious threats. Parent defense efforts must launch as the session opens on March 9.
Texas: New ESA funds will become available in 2026, but parents must be informed and mobilized starting February. Funding now ensures families don’t miss this once-in-a-generation opportunity.

We recognize that many supporters prefer to give through Donor-Advised Funds. AFAS is actively setting up a DAF-compatible giving option, and this will be available soon. If you’d like to be notified when DAF giving is live, or want to discuss options, sign up below.

AFAS is a 501(c)(4) organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible, but they are mission-critical. Every dollar given directly supports advocacy, parent engagement, coalition-building, and on-the-ground work that turns education freedom into reality for families.
